ALIMOS 7: A New A+ Energy Efficient Apartment Building

ALIMOS 7 is the new Residential Complex implemented by AXIACON.
The Design of the Project is signed by the Company’s renowned team of Architects.
It is located in Nea Alexandria area of Alimos at 7-9 Heroos Matsi Street and 4 Digenis Street, near Alimos Metro Station.
It is the 7th Residential Building that the company is constructing in the Alimos area and has been designed with very high construction standards.

Special quality features

Energy Class Α+

The highest Energy Class A+ is achieved through:

  1. Installation of PV solar systems for electricity generation (Net Metering) for every apartment.
  2. Construction of an external thermal facade (BAUMIT or STO) of 13 cm. thick.
  3. Installation of heat pump (Mitsubishi) for low cost heating (underfloor heating, OVENΤROP Germany) of the apartment.
  4. Installation of VRV air conditioning in each room of the apartment.
  5. Installation of aluminum energy frames (ALUMIL) and German Energy Glass Panels (GUARDIAN).

High Earthquake Protection

It is achieved by:

  1. Geotechnical research and study of the underground.
  2. Foundation method was determined with an 100cm MAT Foundation (RADIER).
  3. Selection of concrete C30/37 and use of Anti-seismic Cages.
  4. Continuous Laboratory Tests of concrete and iron from the Official KEDE- Laboratory of the Ministry. Concrete thermometer.
  5. Standard maintenance of concrete. Continuous wetting and with burlap laying.
  6. Corrosion protection of the foundation and the basement walls with the use of the Penetron Admix concrete.
  7. Full compliance with the Concrete Technology Regulation.

Insulation

  1. The waterproofing of the foundation and the basement walls with the use of the Penetron Admix concrete.
  2. The waterproofing of the planted ceilings in the Attic and the Ceiling of the basement is performed using Penetron Admix.
  3. PmB polyurea of BAYER or TPO membranes (for double protection).
  4. The soundproofing of the bedroom floors, the sewerage pipes and the masonry create a high level of sound insulation in each apartment.
  5. The construction of all the internal masonry contributes to this with the use of 4 layers (2+2) KNAUF German plasterboards with the required sound insulation (stone wool) inside the partitions.
    The construction of the partitions using plasterboard gives great flexibility to the possibility of future amendments and is by nature an anti-seismic construction.

Safety systems

  1. Voltage controller to protect all the electrical appliances in the apartment.
  2. Fire detection system in all the areas of the apartment.
  3. Security and fireproof doors at the entrances of the apartments.
  4. Water filtering system in each apartment.
  5. Preinstallation of alarm system.

Additional energy and operational issues

  1. Electric cars charging system in parking spot of each apartment.
  2. Installation of smart home systems with operation automations, such as single shutter closure, lighting scenario, security cameras at the apartment etc.
  3. KONE electromechanical elevator (Roomless) with automatic doors, automatic release, high speed and low operating costs.
  4. LED lighting and transit sensors in all common areas. Low operating costs and.
  5. Construction of gardens with plants and trees of low hydrophilicity.

For this purpose, as a pioneer it delivers a Detailed Construction File,

  • Depiction of networks and pipelines (Photos – VIDEO).
  • Catalog of workshops and suppliers of the project.
  • Certifications- Materials and Workshop Guarantees.
